LATIMO is a powerhouse eight-piece pop-funk act fronted by West End star Katie Birtill, whose solo album recently hit No. 1 in the iTunes jazz charts.

Their distinctive signature sound is a feel-good fusion of soaring diva vocals, heavy grooves and blistering horn riffs, infused with the flavours of jazz, funk and soul. Masterminded by composer, keys player and bandleader Nick Pike, LATIMO’s music is both impossibly intricate and completely infectious. With its heart firmly on the dancefloor, LATIMO never fails to get the audience throwing shapes.

The band cut their teeth on the London club scene, bringing a high-octane live energy and swagger that makes them equally at home in the sweatiest and swankiest of venues – which have included Leicester Square’s Hippodrome, Hideaway Jazz Club, Boisdale and The Pheasantry, to name a few. LATIMO have graced festival stages across the UK, including headline slots at Cheltenham Jazz Festival.
